Studio at the Beach is a subsidiary of Hull Artists Studio Connection and is managed as a retail shop and operates as a cooperative.  Members are juried into the group by the executive board.  Members exhibit and sell their work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from Memorial Day until the first week in September.  In exchange, members pay a 10% commission on their cash sales (Sales tax and 5% additional charge for charge sales) and agree to staff the Studio for approximately twenty (20) hours during the season.  Studio at the Beach is limited to approximately 35 members due to space consideration.

-         Membership dues have to be paid to participate.

-         All work sold must be originals or prints made from the original.

-         No mass produced or imported items can be sold or displayed

-         The artist is only allowed to display what they were juried for

The Connection’s organization consists of an executive board and several major committees, including Press/Publicity, Membership, Events (4 a year), Studio at the Beach and Facilities.  All members are expected to be an active member in the Hull Artists Studio Connection by participating on at least one committee.  General meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm.

Hull Artists Studio Connection is a registered, non-profit organization and receives some funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
