Irwin Nesoff
Weir River Studio
Photography is my opening to the world
around us. I focus on scenes that I come across that
otherwise might be overlooked. A flower, a bird, a tall ship
gliding through the harbor. While these are everyday scenes
that might remain n our minds for a short time, my goal is to
make these scenes that bring beauty and life to our world
permanent objects of enjoyment through my photographs.
Since relocating to Hull from New York I
have exhibited in several juried shows in Massachusetts, and
was awarded first prize for photography in Scituate Arts
Association’s Arts Alive! Juried show for my photography
Yellowstone Sunrise. The judge’s description notes
“the marvelous composition, you feel the bone chilling
grandeur.”
Irwin works out of his home overlooking
he Weir River estuary, and is an Associate Professor of Social
Work and Organizational Leadership at Wheelock College in
Boston.
