“New
England is my palette.
As a painter, I am drawn to express the beauty I see in the
world around me. Inspired by the artwork of the great
masters, I take full advantage of the extraordinary local
landscapes, floral life, historic landmarks and the unique
homes and experiences of my fellow New Englanders. I also
draw inspiration from my students of all ages, who discover
the joy of painting and expressing themselves through the play
of light, shadow, shape and color.”
Lois
Peterson is a painter working in oil, watercolor and acrylic.
Her work, which often includes commissions of local homes and
historic sites, hangs in many homes and private collections.
