Paul Ray
Paul Ray, resident of Rockland, MA is a young hardworking Fine Artist with a Neo-Expressionist style. In the year 2000 Paul graduated from Rockland High School. During early childhood he had difficulties with expressive language but his visual observation was extremely strong. After graduation his guidance counselor and parents encouraged him to enroll in art courses with Massasoit Community College, Canton. Paul studied Graphic design and Fine arts for 4 years and had some short trainings with local professional artists. He has family memberships with his father for Hull Artists, Braintree Art Assoc. and North River Art Society in Marshfield. He has a number of solo exhibitions in local libraries and sells his paintings at group art shows through Hull Artists open studio tour, Summer and Winter art festivals, Quincy Artfest, Marina Bay Arts Affair, Braintree Thayer Academy members shows, North River Summer Art Festivals, and Milton Holiday art shows. He received awards mainly through local art exhibitions. His medium is oil and likes to paint seascapes, landscapes, still life and accepts commission work. Paul was a featured artist in July 2011 issue of South Shore Living magazine, Cape Cod and his oil painting “Restless Nantasket” was praised highly by the readers.
