Biography
Boston born artist, Trish Turner, currently of Scituate, has always delighted in the visual world. Floral prints, wide florescent stripes, large blue polka dots, were her pallet for her hand made wardrobe in high school...Graduating magna cum laude from Framingham State, with a Double Major, both in Studio and The History of Fine Art, she has kept her Art Alive with many Continuing Ed. Classes, Workshops, and Internships. These led to a decade of Scene Painting , Styling and Propping for, Jordan Marsh, Ports International, Disney, Coors, Honda, the MFA (Boston), and numerous other national and international venues.
…Falling ill in 1997 with CFIDS, led to her return to the canvas. Her improvement was due to great support from family and friends, the right doctors, and doing what she loves to do, ie., Painting, especially, en plein air.
…..And by way of note, she is still fond of polka dots, only now, a single, small, red one, will do just fine…!
